“My name is Angela Garcia, I’m a fashion photographer from Colombia, based in Israel.
Due to the Corona virus situation, all work was cancelled. No editorial shoots, no collaborations, nothing. So I decided to take an adventure and do an editorial of myself. Before the quarantine started to be strict, I managed to pick up props from the art director I usually work with; Reut Menachem and from an amazing designer, Karin Vasiluk, who lent me some clothes. I did the shoot in my backyard. I modeled, did my own makeup and styling, I set on the camera the frames I wanted and let the temporizer to the magic. It took me two days of shooting to get it just right, and it kept me busy another three days for the post production work. It was very challenging and interesting, creating is my passion and I hope I will be able to keep creating during these difficult times.
