Federico Barbieri is a fashion photographer from North Italy, working between Milan and Bologna. He started with fashion photography in 2012 doing his first shootings as an amateur and he started in 2015 his first works. Federico is currently working full-time either shooting lookbooks or campaigns but also to improve his portfolio and editorials. He is currently waiting for publications for L’Officiel and Grazia Magazine and in the fall, he already has some new projects for other big magazines.
Federico loves shooting in natural light because the model is free to move and express herself in a greater way than in a studio and because natural light is better.
His inspiration grows with the pictures of Mario Testino and Patrick Demarchelier; who are in his opinion the two most important fashion photographers of the last decades. He hopes to shoot one day in New York City and Cape Town, two very different cities but both with a beautiful fashion character!
