Davey Warren is a photographer that grew up in Toronto and lived in China for 10 years where he did editorial work for Vice Magazine and learned a lot. He moved back to Canada about two years ago and he’s been shooting intimate portraits since he got back. Davey first got into photography when he was in his late teens when his dad gave him his old Konica T Reflex and he’s been shooting film ever since.
Like most young photographers, Davey was very inspired by Cartier-Bresson and then found influences like Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin that brought him into shooting fashion and into what he shoots today. Davey intends to do more and more crazy work.
