Photographer Spotlight: Chelsea Jackson

Chelsea Jackson is 25 years old and currently living in the Southern USA with her husband and daughter. An editorial stylist, blogger and bridal industry insider by trade, she has very recently begun exploring the world of photography through creative photoshoots. After pursuing a degree in Linguistic Anthropology, she abandoned traditional schooling in favor of a more creative career (all the while refining her personal aesthetic and navigating motherhood).

It was then that Chelsea discovered her niche in styling that focuses on conveying raw human emotion and challenging traditional ideas of female beauty with contradictory attitude. This ultimately lead her to a burgeoning interest in photography. Chelsea is inspired by fashion that doesn’t try too hard, minimalism and female empowerment.

As manager and assistant buyer for Madeline Sandlin’s Finery Chelsea is fortunate to have beautiful gowns at her disposal from time to time and is honored to have shot these images for the brand.
