I come from the county of Rouville, Québec, near farms and nothingness. I discovered Montreal whilst studying art and later moved there to pursue my studies in Art History. At the time, I was sketching and painting but at some point I developed a passion for travel photography. I learned to look at the light and this passion extended to people.
My main inspiration always comes from the light, the way it touches and caresses, the way it can be violent, sensual or neutral to reflect a mood and give shape to the personality of the subject and the way I want to capture it. With “Heat”, I wanted to feel the sunset on the skin of Rosalie at the end of a hot summer day.
